OK I am having some serious problems with getting proftpd to start on Startup. I have tried creating it’s own startupitem, but I look at the crash log and every single time it starts up it crashes, but if I do the command line /usr/local/sbin/proftpd it starts up fine.. so I decided I would just add the startup line to my Exim startupitem, and that also results in a crashed proftpd.

What can I do? It’s strange that it will startup fine if I call the program, but if a StartupItem calls it.. it crashes. Plus if I make it inetd instead of StandAlone it also crashes..

    help!
