    Hi all

I have a question (in particular with DNS settings) but it’s actually to do with Server Admin in general. Somehow the DNS settings have become corrupted, in Server Admin selecting anything and pressing Save just results in it going back to a the settings before (for example both Recursion and Transfers have lines instead of ticks). So I tried to use serveradmin via the cli but what you get running:

    sudo serveradmin settings dns

    is this:

serveradmin[24817] Exception in doCommand: *** -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (1) beyond bounds (1)

instead of the usual blurb. (Incidentally, you get the same error via the Transactions Window in debug mode too)

Now that got me thinking – where are these stored? The named.conf files and the relevant zones look Ok and indeed, the DNS service itself is working, just I can’t change anything using either the cli or GUI version of Server Admin. So looking at servermgrd, it appears that the relevant parts are stored in /usr/share/servermgrd/bundles. So I tried replacing the dns bundle with one from a known working server but it made no difference.

I am now all out of ideas – does anyone know what else (other than wiping and starting over -ouch!) I can do to resolve this problem
