Hi everybody,

let me first explain my situation: I’ve got an AD and an OD (10.6 Server) running. On the OD I’m using augmented records to set a new home directory for the users. The problem is that I can’t create home the home directories for the users on the share using
sudo createhomedir
. Simply nothing happens when I run that command.

I’m pretty new to that whole topic but from my point of view everything looks good.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi,

If you have the share under Mac OS X you have to create a Symbolic Link for Active Directory User Homes on Open Directory Mac OS X Server
Run this command in Mac OS X Server ln -s /Path/To/Share/Point /

Then you run sudo createhomedir -a I have noticed that after I run the command I don’t see the students folder on the server. I have to login as the student to the shared then I will see the folder on the server.
