portable homes – can’t login

As a follow up to the question below, I tried creating a user under LDAP that matched my username and password on my macbook. Now I can only log into my macbook if I unplug from the network. If I am connected to the network I am unable to login.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Since you still should have a local account, you can boot from your install disk and choose change password under the tools menu. Select the proper account and change the password to something else. Once you reboot, you should be able to login again.
