Portable Home Directory only Snyc on login

Server 10.4.9 / Clients 10.4.9
We recently turned PHD to sync on login/logout and the login function works great but as students logout the Sync never takes place. We flushed the MCX, created new test accounts, Groups, and computer lists.

Delete /Library/Managed Preferences. Delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.homesync.plist. Ensure that you have no checked “Merge with client settings” in the manged prefs in WGM for login/logout sync.

The combination of those three has always worked for me.

Ensure that we have no checked “Merge with client settings” in the manged prefs in WGM for login/logout sync. We still have the same issue. Does anyone know of a script or preference adjustments that will force Login/out Sync.
