    Hi all,

I am experiencing an issue where the OSX server-based Software Update service only works if I connect from a client inside the same VLAN the OSX server belongs to.
If I tried to check for updates from whithin another VLAN, the message “Your software is up to date” appears although I know there updates left.
If I connect with a web browser from the same client (in a different VLAN), pointing to the OSX server IP number, I can see the complete list of available packages.
Is there any special setup/setting I have to be aware of when dealing with VLANs and SU ?
This OSX server is just a test machine with a very basic setup, since all the major network services (DNS, DHCP and the like are being managed by W2k3 servers)

Many thanks for your kind attention!
    Ciao
    Carlo
