I have my home network set up with an old Linux box as my SNAT router/firewall and wireless access point. I would like to start using ipsec to secure the wireless private subnet. Eventually I would like to be able to drill through to our Cisco 3000 at work too, but that’s a whole other project. I can’t seem to find any helpful documents on interfacing OSX to FreeS/WAN in this way. Actually there is practically no help on connecting OSX to FreeS/WAN, and what little I have found presumes one gateway to another. I simply want a secure tunnel across the ether between my laptop and the router in the other room. I’m lost in the quagmire of shared secrets, ssl certs and config file jargon. If the processes were in any way similar between the two platforms I might have a prayer 🙁

    -Help?? ❓
