Hello Everyone,
I am running 10.5.4 server as an Open Directory Master.
Recently my drive failed so when it was replaced I restored the new one from a disk image backup that I had.
The restore worked fine for the most part although it might have had something to do with an issue I have been having with Open Directory.
Now whenever I make changes in Workgroup Manager, like adding a group, changing preferences or switching a uid it works temporarily, but when I reboot the server all the changes are lost and
and it reverts back to the previous state with any added groups and managed preferences gone. In addition to this the machine is taking a very long time to shutdown, sometimes not shutting down at all. When it does this a spinning gear appears.
Any help would be much appreciated.
