Odd AIM over iChat problem

Two (iChat on AIM accounts) clients (Jack and Jill) cannot see each other. Although they are both logged in and on the same LAN, they display as grayed out. Basically they can’t see each other but can see and be seen (by) everybody else.

I tried modifying the port setting from default 5190 to 443. same.

I logged out and in, rebooted, etc… This is not a problem with the other users and is not happening with any other AIM client on Jack and Jill’s stations.
