No REALM Challenge or Weblog access

10.4.3 Server / 10.4.3. Clients

Kerberos running fine on server, can use Kerberos to log in via AFP.

Just hosting the one site, same FQDN as server. Tested web and weblog access before turning on SSL and Kerb REALM, all works fine. Turn on SSL, create REALM using FQDN.

Log onto the website, no challenge. Can’t get to default weblog URL and the link from the main page disappears.

Put in some OD groups containing AD users into the REALM auth list and set browse and author permissions accordingly.

No challenge at the website, can’t get to weblog page.

Any ideas?
