I wanna deploying a /Network/Libary/Fonts for my network users.
What I did, was creating a shared Library mount point where placing all my fonts stuffs.
It works, because of being properly mounted by my mac clients, but
1) there’s no way to use network fonts from all my Mac OS X 10.4.7 clients.
2) when I use Font Book to mange them, the network domain is dimmed even if it’s availbale from client filesystem side (I can manually copy fonts from /Network/Libary/Fonts to /Library/Fonts and then they are indeed recognized by Mac OS X).
Very very bad…
Mac OS X Server is also 10.4.7 but with 10.4.6 I’ve got the same issue.
is there anyone who can confirm the above point 1 and 2 bugs?
