I needed to recreate the directory and it contents because of corruption on some level. I have the system setup and tried to enable the networked home folder. I cannot seem to get it to work no matter what. Here is the lowdown:

I have a partition named MultiMedia, and on that are folder I want to share. I go to the Sharing/All tab and select the folders I want to share. I enable them, with guest access, to automount in my domain, and make sure that the permissions are set to members of the domain. I then go to the Accounts/Home tab for the user. I can see the share (afp://x.x.x.x/sharename) and select. When I restart the machine and log in, I get the error message about how I can’t get to the server because maybe it’s down. I have even tried the advanced tab but I know I must be doing something wrong. Can anybody point out my misstep. Thanks.
