    So I got NetBoot working, and it’s pretty neat. But, can you host older OS’s with it? Ideally I’d like to host a 10.5, 10.4 and 10.3 image, each loaded with handy utilities. That way any machine, even much older ones, could plug into the network and boot up one of these utility images.

    But, the System Image Utility only seems to see volumes that have 10.5 installed on them. Is there some trick to making images with older OSs? NetBooting seems to be a particularly poorly-documented feature of OS X Server.
