Net Boot

Hi All
Is it possible to create a non OSX boot image?
I have a boot utility cd witch I use often. I tried Image utility and it reported image created successfully. But I can’t see the image in netboot under server admin.
Is it not possible?

No its an os x utility cd witch you can boot from. Just thought it would be nice if i could use it as a boot image.
is it possible? or do I need to create an image from my osx 10 4 dvd and than install the tools I need here?

I want to do something similar. I would like to boot to an image with apple software restore (or something similar) and then copy and standard image to each station’s drive. If anyone has any ideas of how to do this let us know.
