    Hello,

Last summer, we purchased an Xserve 2×2.8 Quad Core Intel Xeon, 4 gigs of RAM with a RAID card. It came with Leopard server and we set it up to host wikis and blogs for our classes.

We bound it to Active directory and in WGM it pulled all of the AD users in and people were able to log in to wikis that were created with no issues.

We realized something today that’s a problem. A teacher who started after we purchased and bound the Xserve has asked for a wiki. When I went into the list of names to add him as a member of the wiki, his name was not there. I searched for other faculty and students who started here after the initial set up and none of those names are present either.

Is there any way to resync this Xserve with AD so it pulls accounts that were added after the initial binding/pulling of names? I have been searching online all morning and cannot find any information relevant to my problem.

We do not use this server for anything other than wikis and users log into them with their AD credentials. We will be using this server for other things in the future but at this point we are novices and learning as we go along.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

    I feel like an idiot.

There is apparently a limit to the number of names that will show up in WGM.

I typed the teacher’s full name and up he came.

Sorry for the stupid question but maybe someone else will be in this position at some point.

This one has bitten me before. WM can only return 100 results at a time from AD so in larger environments this will definitely be an issue.
