Hi- I upgraded a machine from 10.3.9 to 10.4 and I want to install it on two machines and have them use the new tiger failover strategy where I give them an alias. Unfortunately, one of the machines is named incorrectly and I need to rename it. When I upgraded from 10.3.9 to 10.4, it didn’t give me the option to change the hostname and then when I created the RAID, I named that a name I also want to change. Is there anyway to change these things without losing all data? Can I reinstall somehow?
    Thanks,
    Nicki
I did recreate the RAID with the correct name, so the onyl thing i can’t change now is the hostname. I’m afriad the failover won’t work or “high availability solution” as apple calls it. thanks
