we run a small office with serveral macs. recently we decided to upgrade out g5 from a simple file server to OSX server. What is the best way to move existing users to the Open Directory? I do not care about home directory syncing. Does mearly adding the same user name and short user name to the workgroup manager allow that person to be in the open directory or do i need to create a new user in WM and then move all thier local data into the new home directory. Thanks for any help.
