    Hi Guys,

We’ve switched our staff over to 10.5 Server and now worked out we need to move our Local Users into OD.
Is their a process somewhere in how to do this safely, i remember in 10.4 if you delete the local user and then add them into OD weird things started to happen to mail.
When you add in the email addresses within OD it still said mailbox didnt exist when you emailed that person.

I dont really want to go though that pain again, is their a way to move the details from one to the other.

    Regards…

If the clients are 10.5, under the local user accounts, you can “tie” their local account to their OD account. You’ll have to create them in OD first.

    What do you mean
“you can “tie” their local account to their OD account” ?

I’m new to Leopard and i don’t know how to do it.

    Sandra.
