I can not seem to get the mod_rewrite to work. I have activated the Load mod_rewrite and Add mod_rewrite modules in the httpd.conf and it still does function correctly. Any have the same problem?

I’ve experienced the same problem. What I found out is that the rewrite rule needed to be added to /etc/httpd_macosxserver.conf not httpd.conf.

Works like a charm. I’m successfully using to host sites served by Zope and FileMaker Pro.

Could you give me a little help as to where you add the rewrite rule in the httpd_macosxserver.conf? This is newland for me and I do not want to trash a working web server. The httpd_macosxserver.conf has warnings all over not to edit here and there…

    Thanks in advance
