I have a macbook pro client that is set up as a managed mobile account in OS X 10.5. server. The client will not let the user log in when connected to the the network. I have my own macbook pro set up the same way with a mobile account (log in and sync work fine). I have been checking to see that all the setting are the same, and so far, they appear to be.

Any ideas of what might interfere with the managed mobile client password not being recognized by the mobile account on the Server (10.5 )? If I unplug the network cable and turn off wireless, the user can log in fine.

I have checked that passwords match on both the client and server and they do.

Are both client and server running X.5.3, the most recent update? This cured some significant mobile account problems I had (although I have no idea why it did so.)

Both client and server have most recent updates. Here is an interesting tidbit however. If I unplug the client from the network and log in, then plug the client back into the nework, home sync works!
