Well here is the deal. We have integrated Open Directory to our Novell LDAP server so that Mac users get to use our Novell Network. So for some systems we want mobile accouts so users don’t always have to use the network. They aren’t actually being sync’d though. So, with 10.4.x this works fine. But the second I turn on Mobile Accounts in the Workgroup manager, it breaks 10.3.9 users ablility to mount disk images.

Has anyone else run into this problem. If so, how did you fix it? Also if anyone might have a hunch it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I forgot to include some other info…

When you try and mount a disk image, it goes through the checksum and then when the image would normally mount it says, A box pops up and says “The Following disk images failed to mount” Then it lists the disk image names and says under Reason “No mountable file systems”.

The workgroup manager that controls all of this resides on a 10.4.2 server.
