MCX with AD and OD.only working for local accounts, not AD accounts, why?

UPDATE… Okay it appears to be the “Force Home Directory on startup” that is causing my issue. Is there anyway around this? Like pull the User Template?

I’m testing out a setup that involves AD and OD. The client is running 10.5.2 and Directory Access is set up with both AD and OD running. AD is working fine, OD (MCX managed prefs) seems to be working just fine for the local accounts on the client, but when logged in under an AD account nothing is working. The AD plugin is set to force home directories (at this point). All the managed prefs in WGM are being pulled from “Guest Computers” at this point since they can all be the same for this test.

Is what I’m trying to do possible? What could be set wrong please?
