MCX = some apps get buggy permissions

Hi all,

I’m using WGM to manage access to apps. I’ve run into two applications that really don’t like to be managed.

RealPlayer and Microsoft Office X
They were installed normally using a local admin account on the master image I have created. Both apps are in the allowed lists, but when a user logs in, the app turns to a folder with a red line through it, meaning, permissions hell.

I change owner to root (as Bombich suggests) and match permissions to other default installed apps, but still nothing, in fact, RealPlayer says it’s damaged after that.

Anyone else seen this, or find a solution?
