Setup GUI Mailman in OSX Server (10.3.5), but all the messages from Mailman indicate [email protected]. As an aside, account names also have this when I drag and drop into one the listname accounts. Been running email server for about 50 people for 6 months and haven’t seen this before-email works fine and without the hostname-same thing for Squirrelmail.

Mailman does properly send mail to users at the full hostname, but I would prefer it look more conventional. Now I can obviously edit out hostname in the email addresses I add to the list, but how can I edit out the hostname mailman is including its messages being sent out?

I have same problem, and I don“t get it. Why.
I think the answer lies in the configuration of the DNS ,,but that is just a hunch

Didnt have the time to try it yet.
Someone said that it had to do with the installation of MacOsX server.
When the install ask you to write host.domain.xxx.
You will not put in the “host”, just write domain.xxx

    If this is true,, jezuz.

Yeah mailman is acting up for me too. It actually gets blank when i hit save after creating mailman in server admin. I cant seem to use it at all….

Do i need to run changeip or something to get this to work? I really need to get the mailing lists back up….. If anyone has a suggestion for another “maclike” mailing list that is open-source please let me know. AND i would love if it didnt take a rocket scientist to install it, heh…
