    Hello

What I am trying to do is to connect a mac mini server (10.6) to a windows server 2003 (active directory)

I need to have the mac mini connect to the windows server for authentication. However I need to have the mac mini serve home folders for all Mac clients, as well as client management. I need to have windows server serve home folders for all windows clients. So in essence, I need to have all systems, mac and pcs use the same logons, but have separate home folders. I also need to have the windows clients have a shortcut on their desktop to their mac home folder. Is there a way I can configure this once (because I have a active directory group) so that I don’t have to configure each user every time, including future users. Also, on the mac side, do I bind the mac mini server then the active directory server? As I am using the ad server for authentication only and not home folder.

    Thanks!!!

    Alec
