I have 35 macbooks that are in use for our high school. When a user tries to log in, the password get shaken off. If I delete the OD connection and re-add it with the exact same information the users can then login with no trouble. However once they shut the mac all the way down I have to reset the OD connection. Is there any way to make this not happen??

I am running a Windows 2k3 box for AD, Xserve 10.4.10 for OD.

    Thanks!!

Before going through the process of un-binding and then re-binding the hosts, have you tried HUPing Directory Services?

    sudo killall -HUP DirectoryService

    That’s kind of strange…

    sudo killall -HUP DirectoryService

Make sure there is no space between Directory and Service…
