here’s an odd question… is there any way to administer Mac OS X Server (10.2.8) from a Windows box?

actually, potentially easier question… is there a way to administer [only] Directory Services from a Windows box? Da boss wants/kinda should have emergency access to the users and password change facility (we’re using a password server) of Mac OS X Server 10.2.8. Maybe, setting up a new account, and

I could also provide a web-application for the boss to administer, I already have such a beast now, nicely secured with role permissions.

considering it’s LDAP, shouldn’t it be possible to provide an interface for Windows users, too? even better, could I provide a limited-functionality LDAP interface of the WGM to da bossman?

Active Directory isn’t an option, or even a consideration.

    thx,
    cam
