I’m looking for any recommendations about using an Xserve w/ Leopard server to handle email, calendaring, and an LDAP directory for about 800-1000 users.
All services must run on the same box. The main use of the box will be email. OpenLDAP and iCal Server will be running as well. We want to be able to provision all the services through the directory. Does anyone have any experiences they’d like to share?
We have a few (under 50) Outlook users. Do the Leopard services integrate with Outlook well? Does the iCal calendar show up in the Calendar view of Outlook? Same for contacts?
Anything anyone can share — recommendations, horror stories, whatever — would be appreciated.
