Trying to get LOM (for simple purpose of Server Monitor) working on my new Intel xserves. I think the problem is that en0 and en1 are aggregated using LACP to a Cisco 3750. LOM and LACP aren’t playing nicely. Pinging the LOM IP fails and I get no response from the server remotely when using Server Monitor. I can, however, get Server Monitor to work perfectly by running it on the server, pointed to 127.0.0.1.

Is it possible to use LOM on aggregated ports?

I have not been successful in getting Link Aggregation in general (using LACP) to work on Cisco gear, specifically in my case, the 3560G switch. Weird things would happen when trying to see the Xserve G5 from Remote Desktop and Server Admin, I just ditched the whole effort. So I bet it has to do with the Cisco more than anything else.
