    I’m running on a G5 tower – 2 GHz, 2.5GB memory. Server 10.3.9

What are the practical limits of the Apple implementation of IMAP implementation of Cyrus?

How large (megabytes)can a mailbox grew before things get flakey? We are thinking of having the users being able to store ALL their folders on the mail server with little or no storage on the individual’s computer.

What are the practical limits on the number of users that I can have? The server isn’t being pounded by users heavily, but it could be.

ShouldI be thinking of getting a beefier mail server? PLEASE don’t tell me to go to 10.4. We installed SpamAssasin on our 10.3.9 computer, and I think upgrading would get ugly.

    Thanks in advance,
    Scott

Should answer some of your questions

I’m running with mailboxes over well 1GB without any noticable issues, YMMV
