Leopard Packagemaker and/or ARD Question

I have a package set up and the install seems to work. However, when deployed via ARD the status shows the install failed (which it did not). The error says “Finishing Installation”. Obviously this is not really an error so I must be missing something in the package. I did not specify a post install script. Also I did not know how it decides if it is an update or install so I specified the same pre-install script for both. Can someone tell me why this message makes ARD think the install failed? TIA.
