ldap lookup in squirrelmail – ldap protocol error

Hi All

I’m trying to make the ldap address book lookup work in squirrelmail.

Using conf.pl I’ve entered the ldap config information as required and enabled the ab plugin.

When I try to look up an address I get the following error

Error initialising server ldap.mycompany.co.uk: [LDAP:
ldap.mycompany.co.uk] Protocol error.

I chose the default option for the protocol in conf.pl, does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi All

The answer is 3. Duh – well now it works beautifully its obvious. By the way the javascript plug-in you can turn on in conf.pl is much nicer than the standard html.
