Hello, One of our schools is has an LDAP Server for authentification (XServe, latest OS Server Panther) with a second XServe (latest OS Panther) that has each users Home Folder, etc. On the initial login (first time ever to login to the server) (latest OS Panther on the client), the user gets an error that “their home folder is unavailable at this time,” and they are unable to login. Upon researching, the XServe that holds the Home Folders shows that the user is logged in, but the LDAP Server doesn’t. The administrator then disconnects the user from the XServe that has the Home Folder, then has the user login again and all works from that point on. Is this a corrupt database issue on one of the XServes? Has anyone seen this? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Smile
