Hi all,
I’m reading the freshly printed ”Mac OS X Server 10.4 Tiger” Visual Quick Pro Guide book by Schoun Regan.
On page 98 it describes what happens when you switch Mac OS X Server 10.4 from Standalone Server to Open Directory Master. Among other things, it states that the newly created LDAP administrator account gets added to the NetInfo (Local) Domain. I switched my Mac OS X Server from Standalone Server to Open Directory Master as described in the chapter but using Workgroup Manager I didn’t see the new LDAP administrator account in the user list of the local NetInfo domain.
Could you confirm this is an expected behaviour and that there is an error in the book?
TIA.

Thanks macshome! 🙂
I’d like to notify the author about the errata but it seems his email is nowhere… 🙄
