    Hi everyone,

    Our company is growing — we’re adding a “Junior Support/Administrator” whose primary role will be to provide support from our Toronto office.

    If you are interested shoot a resume and email over to [email protected].

    Job Description:

    We’re venture funded with offices in Toronto, Canada and Mountain View, California.

    The area: IT Operations

    Crowd Science has a mid-sized team and is growing rapidly. We’re a Mac shop with frequent telecommuters and have a few full-time remote workers. We rely heavily on email, VOIP, and various other cloud services to get our work done and are always on the lookout for new products to help us close the distance between team members.

    The role: Junior Support/Administrator

    We’re looking for a Junior Support/Administrator type for our Toronto office. You will be one of the first faces and voices to greet new employees to the company. You will have to create user accounts, introduce them to services and answer any queries they and the other employees may have about day-to-day operations. We’re a Mac shop so experience in OS X and OS X server is a must.

    We’re a startup so some of the more traditional IT services have not fully addressed, but after they are there will be opportunities to learn and help with the production side of things (a Python/ Django app running on a mix of Solaris / Linux).

    There is some really exciting work to be done and if you want to be part of a team, building and running it, please come talk to us.

    Requirements: 1-2 years support experience

    * Strong writing skills
    * Great personality
    * Basic understanding of:
    o Directory services
    o File/Print servers
    * Inventory management
    * VOIP experience a plus.
    * Sys Admin experience also a plus.
    * Mac OS X and OS X Server experience

    Thanks,
    Michael
