I am looking for a solution for Macs to have many remote users logging on to the network like Citrix does with Terminal Services. I am looking for a solution where it wouldn’t be taxing on the bandwidth because like in Citrix it is only doing screen refreshes. We have a VPN but that is taxing the bandwidth when many users are logged in at the same time using database files. Also VNC will not work unless there is a way to have multiple users log in a the same time to a Mac 10.4 server and I would like to have Mac desktops not logging into X11 terminals.

    Does anyone have any solutions?

This would be awesome if such a product were to exist. I actually work with deploying Citrix in AD-based environments at least once a month. I am getting ready to deploy Citrix in my own environment (AD/OD mixed, cross-relm, all the good stuff thanks to MacTroll and Mr. Bartosh’s articles) and would be very eager to try out a Mac-based product!

😀 Thanks Troll! Can you tell us who the software is from? Is it a Citrix product?
