    Preview.app in 10.5 is very robust. Given that we have to make a custom package or Reader each time there is an update, is Adobe Reader even needed anymore?

    We have to keep using the $%@# program, solely because it supports Stamp annotations. But then, most of my Mac users have Acro Pro installed, so, it’s more a PC issue for us.

    I don’t know much about Adobe Reader, but I think there are some PDFs that have advanced features that require Reader. It’s small and easy to install, so I just add it. I leave Preview as the default, giving my users the option to choose, assuming they know how.
