    It strikes me a little odd that Apple would leave out such a useful thing as IP and port forwarding in the NAT GUI in ServerAdmin. I’ve got some ethernet cameras and a linux server on our LAN that I would like to make available to the internet, but can’t find any clear, tested instructions on how to edit the NAT and/or firewall files to do this. Considering all the warnings about how a mistake can really mess up the system and shut down all IP communications, such help would be greatly appreciated.

    You are able to do port forwarding using the GUI in OS X.3.x Server. I have set it up at a site wanting to use iChat AV.. Have a look for the instructions here:
