ParticipantI have OS X Server 10.2.3 and a newly installed firewall. Prior to the firewall I had a Draytek router that worked great but I needed additional protection and now I have a Watchguard SOHO6 Firewall with routing capabilities.
With the Draytek router I could access my Web Server internally, as well as over the internet. Now after the installation of the firewall I myself can not access my web server. It is only accessible over the internet externally. To make this even more complicated, I can not access it at all from my internal LAN over the internet.
When I remove the Watchguard firewall and replace it with my older Draytek router, it all works again. Watchguard does not know why and I am convinced it had something to do with the server setup.
I have heard cases like this before and know there is a solution. I need some help with this and afp548 is definitely the place to ask. So come on and let the tips and hints fly.

ParticipantHi Joel,
1. Class C network: 192.168.0.1 (Server)
2. I have tried using the internal IP, Hostname and also the URL over the internet. http://www.ourpics.homeip.net
3. IP for my Firewall/Router is:
int.=192.168.0.251
ext.= DynDNS (NAT)I do not have a DNS Server configured. Using DynDNS leaves me wondering how. I have never set up a DNS server as with my old DrayTek router, all worked fine always. I was forced to install a good firewall. My server was raped and I had to start from scratch. Do not want to go through that again.
The web server is serving the software “Gallery”. I wrote a short article on it for your site. Embarassing, eh? I found out that if I configure Gallery for use on the internal network, it no longer works externally. The Gallery folks have not answered yet. They already told me once that they have no experience with Macs or OS X.

ParticipantHi Joel,
I have found the problem and am working on a fix. I was looking in the wrong direction. The firewall is working as expected and it has nothing to do with OS X Server. The problem is with the software I am serving (Gallery). It is a “server-relative” URL configuration that makes the software accessible only through the URL in the config.php.
I still do not have it running as expected but I am a step in the right direction. Other people that had the same problem and are helping.
Thanks for your help.
