    Hello,

I’m wondering if someone can point me in the right direction regarding this nightly kernel panic occurring on an Intel xServe. panic.log is showing:

This happens nightly at the same time.

The server is fully up to date. It runs MySQL and WebHelpDesk only. It seems the issue started after the last Java update that came out. The only thing I have scheduled is a MySQL backup at 11:00pm every night. Other than that I can find anything thats running at 12:03.

Could this be a hardware issue, ram, processor…?

    Hello,

Did you ever find out why this was happening?

    Thanks,

    Josh.

I have had similar KP on a Quad-G5 (OS X server 10.4.11) and on a PowerBook G4 (OS X client 10.4.11) while having 2 NFS volumes mounted.

The similar error message is highlighted in boldface.

By any chance are either of your servers running the CommVault backup client? We’re getting the same panics on one of our servers here and I’m trying to narrow down the possibilities.
