ParticipantWhen I run InstaUp2Date with my catalog file for my “base” image, it works and puts the right shortcuts in the right folders, and the shortcuts point to the right places.
When I run InstaDMG, the ones based on web locations such as the ones from the 10_6vanilla.catalog file work great. I also have a lot of customized PKG files that I want on the image, and those all fail.
Here’s what the debug log shows.

ParticipantHey there,
I have seen another instance of this bug, please post the issue at instadmg.googlecode.com. I can confirm that DMG’s do not seem to suffer from this, so it’s a workaround to just use DiskUtility to make a read-only dmg for those pkgs. If you can find in the code why it’s setting that path wrong for PKG’s only I’ll totally buy you a beer anytime you’re in NYC.Allister

ParticipantIn rev 296, I get “No file found at path”, for all packages.

ParticipantFor those in my boat where PKG files no longer seem to work using InstaUp2Date, and not as handy with the command line to wrap those PKG files into a DMG, I found this drag and drop tool to do it for me.

ParticipantI have a fix that is pending further testing and approval. I’ve considered committing it to the branch instead of the trunk, but have been asked to be patient. I’ll mail the dev list today and see if I can get that moving along faster.
