InstaMDG Workflow

Im starting to use InstaDMG and am wondering what type of workflow people use. Here are my questions:

Do you use a separate copy of instaDMG for each image?
What naming convention do you use for the output image?
do you name the image? textfile?

Any other suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
