I would like to see an article on this. There are a couple ways to handle getting an AD server and OSX server to play nice. One of these ways is importing the users short names into OSX server without creating a user account. Binding the OSX clients using netinfo and still using Admitmac for auth and home dir. Some people would like to use Thursby product Admitmac, but still have control of the OSX clients through WGM. One way is to tweak the AD schema but not that all people can do that.
I have tried and tried with no success using ldapadd, I can’t get it. A step by step article on how to do this would be great. I can’t seem to find any instructions any where on this.
