Connecting to my OSX 10.3.9 Server’s IMAP Services, I see something strange in Mail.app 2.0.2.
At the bottom of the Mailboxes drawer (oops, I mean pane), at the bottom, there is a network globe with the same label as the IMAP Account. It has one folder in it: Shared Folders.
The Shared Folders folder contains 3 folders: Deleted Messages, Drafts, and Sent Messages.
I am able to open these mailboxes but unable to copy any messages to any of them or otherwise address them (is there a mail address that would make messages actually appear in these folders?).
At any rate, I’d like to get rid of the lot. However, the 10.3.x mail admin makes no mention of Shared folders.
Where are IMAP shared folders created? How do I remove them?
Any thoughts?
Thanks –
