Ideas for an icon

I will be giving a couple of presentations (one at UPenn next week, another in Sweden in a month) and InstaDMG will be part of those presentations. For them I am in the middle of creating a couple of charts to show the processes used in imaging computers. I am of course including InstaDMG on the chart, but so far it is the only one that does not have a icon.

I whipped up an icon this weekend, but inexplicably the background of it is a CD (I really don’t know what I was thinking at the time):

I don’t have any better ideas at this point. So if I could ask people to do some brainstorming here, I will see what comes of it, and then see if I can’t whip up something based on those ideas. I will say in advance that if I don’t see how I am going to create something (or if I am personally not into the idea) then I am not going to do the artwork.

Alternately, if there is someone who would like to put together something and submit it for consideration, that would be welcome as well.

we always talk about our build train (or I, as far as I know, am the only one who talks about a build stream)… just a suggestion for ideas.
