Iceberg troubleshooting

I’m using a combination of Packagemaker and Iceberg in preparing for VLA distribution of one of my client’s software programs and occasionally run into the error in iceberg: “can’t build, insufficient permissions”. That same package (identically constructed) will compile fine in packagemaker.

Is there a place (besides the developer’s page) for tutorials, etc. on iceberg? Or some extra cool info on Package Maker?

When you do it that way and repair permissions with Disk Utility will it change the permisions back to what was in the .pkg and ignore what was in the post-install script?

Does repair permissions even look at third party .pkg’s?
