    Hello there.

I’m having a problem testing my netboot setup because I am on an isolated network with no internet access, to keep my test server seperated from the enterprise wide DHCP server.

I’ve read that the Macintosh Manager software that comes installed on the default Mac OS 9 netboot image is out of date and won’t connect to the macintosh manager server. I will attest to the truth of this.

Does anyone know how I can upgrade this software without having an internet connection to let Software update do its thing (which is, how I presume it is intended to be done)????
    Thanks

Sure, you can use another computer to go to the Apple web site, download the upgrade, and transfer it some other way to your target computer, then install.

Previous suggestion seemed to work fine. I just couldn’t find the MM update I was looking for the first time…. as soon as I found it everything seemed to go as expected, and now my image works well too.

    Thanks
