First; I have to take my hat off for the application!
Now i have made an image, i use netboot a lot and would love to convert my image to a netboot install .nbi. I can’t find any info about it anywere does someone have any great tips or howto?
Im using Leopardserver, tried to mout the image, and the use System Image Utility without success, got an error at the cleaning up fase..
Check out Mike Bombich’s page ( http://www.bombich.com/ ) and specifically Netrestore and Netresore-helper.
Much useful knowledge there on this subject.

(edit) oops, Patrick makes a good point, Netrestore is for netinstalls, not netboots.
Still useful to read through, just not what you were looking for.
ok, re-read what you said….
If I understand correctly you want to:
1) Boot from network and then
2) Install your instadmg created image over the network
in which case Bombich’s website is what you want to read.
otherwise, I don’t understand what you want.
Sorry,

I what to make a netinstall (not netboot) as its named so in System Imaging Utillity. Just boot and install, as i did with my tiger- and leopard discs, works great. I check out the bombich site, thanks for the tip, hope it works.
Deploystudio [Server] basically does this. With the included assistant you create a NetBoot from the latest OS and use that as your NetBoot image. You then boot the NetBoot image to image and restore images to your machines.
This is really funny… over the weekend I found some code to do exactly that (instaNBI), and we (the InstaDMG developers) are talking with the author of that code to bring it into the InstaDMG repository. I have already done some work to get the code in sync with InstaDMG, and will continue on with that (I just got my version with a lot more working). So this will probably be out in a few weeks (the developer seems very receptive to this move).
