Hi everyone, I have posted messages to every message board I can find and figured I would try this one also. Currently I have two labs running 10.3.6 and a server also at 10.3.6. Im using LDap to connect and the students are able to log in and have their home directory follow them etc. etc. Everything was working fine and dandy until I updated them from 10.3.5 to 10.3.6 once i did that the lab that has the PowerMac g4 computers do not mount the home directory all the time. it is very sporadic and driving me nuts because all of the options in the directory access are the same in both rooms, yet only one is giving me problems. Can anyone think of any reason why this would start happening???? And why it mounts sometimes and not others, and why only one lab? Thanks so much in advance for ANY ideas….

Are they on the same subnet as each other, or different? That could be a place to start.

    Hi Joe,
This might sound silly, but are you running DHCP on the lab computers? We had a similar problem happen, and it was a problem with DHCP not getting the addresses.
