Help me break my RAID’s

In a previous thread, you folks talked me out of defragging my RAID’s – good advice, as I’ve heard some horror stories since. Now RAID Admin (1.5) has some new Utility buttons I’m itching to push. Is “Verify/Rebuild Parity Data” and/or “Array Conditioning” good preventative maintenance? Or does this fall into the “don’t fix what ain’t broke” category?
